Welcome to My Midwife
Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs) are educated in two disciplines: midwifery and nursing. They earn graduate degrees, complete a midwifery education program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME), and pass a national certification examination administered by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) to receive the professional designation of CNM. Certified Midwives (CMs) are educated in the discipline of midwifery.
Routine Obstetric Services are offered in collaboration with each woman to guide health promotion across the “Life-Cycle” including Assessment, Evaluation, and Education/Resources based on one’s unique needs, with Treatment as deemed necessary.
Routine Women’s Health Care (also known as Routine Gynecological or Primary Care Exams) include Assessment, Evaluation, Treatment/Recommendations for Treatment, and Education/Resources based on each person’s unique needs in fostering health promotion across the “Life-Cycle”.
